“Thank you so much, I literally couldn’t have done it without the techniques I learnt in class. My labour was much calmer and I felt empowered, instead of scared. I’ve been telling everyone about the magic of pregnancy yoga!” Jenny
“I’ve loved every minute of my classes with you and you’re truly a brilliant teacher.” Helen
“It was great to find your fantastic classes so close to my home in Guildford! I left feeling truly relaxed and calm.” Lisa
"I enjoyed your classes so much and want to thank you for the little piece of harmony I experienced every week in class after after long days at work. It was so nice to be amongst women who are in the same boat and your knowledge and experience meant I learned lots about relaxation and breathing to help me prepare for the birth." Emma
"Your classes really helped me through labour, it was amazing!" Jackie
"Thank you so much Alice, the classes have been beyond my expectations and have provided a really positive labour (something I've always been terrified about) and I won't hesitate to recommend you to anyone!" Jo
About Pregnancy yoga
Pregnancy yoga is the perfect exercise for pregnant people and is recommended by midwives and doctors. It can enhance feelings of well-being and balance during this exciting period of change.
When I was pregnant with my children Sam and Lucy I experienced the roller coaster of joys and challenges that pregnancy brings. I found yoga to be enormously beneficial, giving me balance, peace and a greater acceptance of all the changes that were occurring. At times of tiredness it increased my energy levels. At times of uncertainty it gave me the opportunity to deepen my connection with my growing baby. The breathing techniques and postures we practise in each class are invaluable throughout pregnancy and during labour.
Doing pregnancy yoga can:
build strength, stamina and flexibility
ease pregnancy aches and pains
prepare you for labour
give you time to nurture yourself and your baby
relieve anxiety and aid restful sleep
give you the opportunity to meet other mums
